Job summary

Hernan Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead our Puncak Alam facility, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory, timely deliveries and strong team leadership.

You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, inventory control, transportation planning and cost management, while collaborating with Production, Sales, Procurement and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or food distribution preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations and transportation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, issuing and dispatch.
• Manage inventory control and stock accuracy including stock takes, cycle counts, reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Plan and coordinate transportation and delivery activities for timely distribution.
• Monitor costs, productivity and resource utilisation and drive improvements.
• Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping, security and compliance with procedures.
• Manage and develop the warehouse and logistics team including manpower planning and performance.
• Ensure accurate system transactions, documentation and reporting.
• Work with Production, Sales, Procurement, Finance and other departments for smooth movement of goods.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization and efficiency.
• Provide operational leadership during the durian season at Bentong facility including manpower and storage planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, issuing and dispatch.
• Manage inventory control and stock accuracy, including stock takes, cycle counts, reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Plan and coordinate transportation and delivery activities to ensure timely and efficient distribution.
• Monitor warehouse and logistics costs, productivity and resource utilisation and drive operational improvements.
• Ensure proper warehouse safety, housekeeping, security and compliance with company procedures.
• Manage and develop the warehouse and logistics team, including manpower planning, work allocation, performance and discipline.
• Ensure accurate system transactions, documentation and operational reporting.
• Work closely with Production, Sales, Procurement, Finance and other departments to ensure smooth movement of goods and materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
• During the durian season, provide operational leadership at our Bentong facility, covering manpower, receiving, production coordination and storage planning.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or food distribution is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations and transportation planning.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment and manage seasonal business demands.
