Job summary

TS SHIPPING & FORWARDING SDN BHD is seeking a Logistics Coordinator (Freight Forwarding & Customs Documentation) to support import and export forwarding operations. You will assist with documentation, shipment arrangements, and coordination with customers, transporters, and authorities to ensure smooth cargo handling.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management; additional education is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in logistics; additional education in logistics, shipping, supply chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, forwarding or related field is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures, K1/K3 declarations and shipping documentation is a plus; training will be provided.
• Detailed-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Language: proficiency in multilingual.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Coordination: Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies; track vessel/flight ETAs.
• Documentation: Prepare full sets of import/export documents, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs permits.
• Customer Service: Liaise with local and overseas customers, provide updates, handle enquiries, and resolve shipment issues.
• Customs & Compliance: Ensure shipments meet regulatory requirements and coordinate customs clearance.
• Operational Coordination: Work with warehouses, depots, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
