Job summary

Thaiture Technology (Malaysia) SDN.BHD. in Shah Alam is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate import and export shipments by sea, air, and land.

You will liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and transporters to ensure timely deliveries. The role involves preparing and checking shipping documents, coordinating customs clearance, verifying HS codes and duties, and obtaining quotations from providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping or customs clearance.
• Good knowledge of Malaysia Customs import/export procedures.
• Familiar with HS Codes, import duties and SST.
• Experience handling China–Malaysia shipments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments by sea, air, and land.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and transporters.
• Prepare and check shipping documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading and Certificate of Origin.
• Coordinate Malaysia customs clearance and import declarations.
• Check HS Codes, import duties, SST, and applicable permits/approvals.
• Arrange trucking, container delivery, unloading and final delivery to project sites.
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide regular updates to management.
• Handle customs inspections, documentation issues and shipment delays.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations from logistics providers.
• Maintain proper records of shipments, customs documents and logistics costs.
• Support ad-hoc logistics and procurement activities when required.
