Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Asia Recruit Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist with daily transport bookings, scheduling, and related documentation for imports, exports, and local cargo movements in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

You will liaise with transporters, drivers, customers and warehouses to confirm availability and appointments, and ensure cargo details and handling requirements are met. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily transport bookings and scheduling for import collections, export deliveries and local cargo movements.
• Liaise with transporters, drivers, customers and warehouses to confirm vehicle availability, collection and delivery appointments, cargo details and handling requirements.
• Prepare and follow up transport instructions, delivery orders and related documents. Coordinate collection and delivery around cargo readiness, customs release and receiving arrangements.
• Monitor truck movements and delivery progress, obtain proof of delivery and follow up outstanding documents. Escalate delays, failed deliveries or additional charges promptly.
• Assist with airline or co-loader bookings, flight schedules, cargo collection and terminal delivery arrangements. Follow up booking confirmations and cargo and document cut-off times.
• Assist with preparing and checking air waybill instructions and shipment documents, including commercial invoices and packing lists. Verify consignee details, cargo descriptions, piece counts, weights and dimensions.
• Respond to routine customer and agent enquiries, provide timely progress updates and coordinate with sales and operations on shipment instructions or changes.
• Assist with shipment cost records, vendor invoice checks and billing documents. Submit complete files to Accounts and flag discrepancies or unapproved charges for review.
