Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a logistics coordinator in Kajang to manage operations and coordinate transportation activities, ensuring on-time deliveries and optimal movement efficiency.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of supply chain processes. Mandarin fluency is preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients and related communications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of logistical procedures and best practices.
• Understanding of supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and coordinate transportation activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and monitor movement efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
• Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels effectively.
• Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies.
• Optimize the supply chain process for improved efficiency.
• Analyze and report on logistics performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Responsible for shipment and delivery arrangement.
• Responsible for full set import/export document preparation
• Responsible for the shipment from its origin country until to the destination warehouse.
• Propose innovative ways to improve service and cost, from both technological and process improvements.
