Nan Ya Hardware in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics/Transportation Coordinator to manage operations, coordinate transportation activities, and ensure timely delivery of goods. The role emphasizes efficient distribution, warehouse oversight, and ongoing process improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Logistics/Transportation, have Microsoft Office skills, and understand supply chain processes. Mandarin proficiency is preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients and related communications.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of logistical procedures and best practices.
• Understanding of supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
• Mandarin preferred for dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and coordinate transportation activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and monitor movement efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
• Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels effectively.
• Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies.
• Optimize the supply chain process for improved efficiency.
• Analyze and report on logistics performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Responsible for shipment and delivery arrangement.
• Responsible for full set import/export document preparation.
• Responsible for shipment from origin country to destination warehouse.
• Propose innovative ways to improve service and cost, through technology and process improvements.
• Follow up shipping process documents, controls of freight payment, audit system and ensure all documents updated.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
