Job summary

Asia Recruit in Malaysia is seeking a junior Operations Assistant to support driver coordination, hub sorting, and asset management across our pickup network. This role offers hands-on exposure to logistics processes and daily operations.

Ideal for SPM leavers or fresh grads, the candidate should be willing to work day and night shifts in a dynamic environment, with opportunities to learn warehouse and pickup procedures while contributing to efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Driver Management & Pickup Process: supervise drivers and coordinate pickups, ensuring SOP adherence.
• Seller & Partner Management: communicate with sellers/partners about pickup arrangements and resolve escalations.
• Hub Operations & Sorting Management: oversee sorting, FIFO processes, monitor attendance and workflow efficiency.
• Asset & Vehicle Management: track assets including PDA devices and ensure vehicle maintenance and availability.

Responsibility

• Driver Management & Pickup Process
  Supervise and coordinate drivers to ensure efficient pickup operations.
  Ensure adherence to SOPs for the pickup process, including scanning and parcel handling.

• Seller & Partner Management
  Manage expectations and communication with sellers and partners regarding pickup arrangements.
  Address and resolve any pickup-related concerns or escalations.

• Hub Operations & Sorting Management
  Oversee hub operations, including sorting activities and maintaining FIFO processes.
  Monitor sorter attendance, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
  Ensure compliance with operational standards to maintain smooth daily operations.

• Asset & Vehicle Management
  Track and manage company assets, including PDA devices.
  Oversee vehicle management, ensuring proper maintenance, fuel usage, and availability for daily operations.
