Job summary

SEMIWINS INTERNATIONAL (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist in Malaysia (Penang) to manage import/export declarations and review trade documents to ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.

Coordinate with logistics teams and brokers to resolve clearance issues. The role requires familiarity with Malaysia and Asia-Pacific customs rules, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP a plus), and Mandarin/English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in customs, trade compliance, or import/export operations (fresh graduates welcome).
• Familiar with Malaysia and Asia-Pacific customs regulations, import/export procedures, and Free Trade Agreements.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English for communication and documentation.

Prepare customs KPI reports, operational statistics, and analytical summaries.

Assist in customs audits, compliance assessments, and maintain SOPs and operational guidelines.

Participate in process optimization and digitalization/automation improvement projects.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.

2-3 years of experience in customs, trade compliance, or import/export operations (outstanding fresh graduates are welcome).

Familiar with Malaysia and Asia-Pacific customs regulations, import/export procedures, and Free Trade Agreements.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in Excel and MS Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

Proficiency in Mandarin (for communication with HQ) and English (for international trade documentation).
