Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Import/Export Specialist to oversee cross-border logistics, ensure compliant customs clearance, and manage related documentation.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with 6+ years in courier/logistics environments, strong HS code knowledge, and a KEK licence, plus fluent English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese to liaise with partners and authorities.

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma with at least 6 years’ experience in handling import-export operations and customs clearance in courier/ logistics companies.
• Knowledgeable about customs procedures, tariffs, duties, regulations, etc and Import/Export documentation and declaration of K1, K2,K3, K4, K8, K9.
• Familiar with customs HS codes, duty tax computation/exemption
• Must possess a KEK licence
• Good networking with port customs, external freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Possess a friendly disposition with good communication and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese languages to deal with relevant customers and stakeholders.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for budgetary control, cost analysis, process improvement, day-to-day custom clearance operations, etc.
To manage the import and export of goods, complete necessary paperwork, and coordinate with various government agencies and customs authorities to ensure smooth and efficient customs clearance processes, minimise delays, and ensure compliance with customs laws.
• Dealing with customs and executing the procedures of customs clearance
• Prepare relevant import/export documentation and demonstrate full logistics support functions.
• Analyse the origin of all products and suppliers subjected to the FTA (Free Trade Agreement) and prepare the required documents for compliance.
• Liaise with oversea offices and agents to facilitate customs clearance in other countries.
• Liaise/coordinate with internal sales/ operations/customer service departments to ensure smooth delivery of consignment to final destination after port clearance.
• Attend to customer enquiries, complaints and maintain good rapport to fulfil their requirements.
• Responsible to co‑ordinate and ensure timely submission of monthly and yearly reports to the Customs for the purpose of renewal of Freight Forwarding and other licences.
