Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping operations.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding procedures, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and supply chain operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipment operations with co-loaders and carriers.
• Arrange transshipments and monitor cargo status to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare shipping documentation (D/O, SI, BL, invoices, customs docs).
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, co-loaders, POD agents, and internal departments.
• Provide shipment notifications, SOB dates, container details, and exchange rates to customers.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and identify process improvements.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistic Operation Executive to join our team at Amass International Logistics Sdn. Bhd. based in Klang, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics and freight forwarding operations, ensuring smooth shipment handling, accurate documentation, and timely communication with customers, co-loaders, and carriers.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination & Operations

Coordinate and manage daily shipment operations, including booking arrangements with co-loaders and carriers

Arrange transshipment connections upon receipt of booking confirmations

Monitor cargo movement and shipment status to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency

Follow up closely with co-loaders, warehouse teams, and transportation providers regarding cargo status and shipment schedules

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Delivery Orders (D/O), Shipping Instructions (SI), Bills of Lading (BL), invoices, and customs-related documents

Submit Shipping Instructions to designated carriers accurately and within required timelines

Issue Bills of Lading and invoices to shippers for verification and confirmation

Ensure all operational activities comply with company procedures, shipping regulations, and customer requirements

Liaise with clients, suppliers, co-loaders, POD agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery

Provide shipment notifications, SOB dates, container details, and exchange rates to customers

Coordinate and deliver pre-alert documents to POD agents in a timely manner

Facilitate payment arrangements with designated carriers and service providers

Reporting & Process Improvement

Maintain accurate shipment records, operational reports, and inventory documentation

Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities for service and workflow improvements

Collaborate with the logistics team to support departmental goals and operational excellence

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping operations

Strong understanding of freight forwarding procedures, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and supply chain operations

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn
