Job summary

Elite Digital Logistics seeks a Logistics Executive for night shift in Klang to manage shipment bookings, coordinate with customers and carriers, and prepare essential shipping documents.

You will ensure bookings align with KPI, monitor status, and escalate issues promptly while maintaining strong communication with internal and external parties.

• Read and respond to emails daily; manage deadlines and non-conformances.

Logistic Executive - Freight Forwarding (Night Shift)

5 Days Work Week (Monday to Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

Handle shipment booking activities accurately and within the agreed KPI.

Coordinate with customers, origin offices, carriers, and internal stakeholders regarding booking arrangements.

Ensure all booking details are updated correctly in the system.

Monitor booking status and follow up on pending or rejected bookings.

Prepare and validate shipping documentation related to bookings.

Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely updates.

Escalate operational issues or delays when necessary.

Maintain good communication and collaboration with internal and external parties.

Ensure compliance with SOP and operational guidelines.

Support team initiatives, cross-training, and process improvements when required.

Arrange booking of ocean vessels and drayage for export containers and update systems accordingly

Work closely with internal operations to meet customer’s requirements

Liaise with internal and external party

Prepare documentation (such as Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, COA, COO, Insurance, Application for Collection, Bank Draft etc)

Ensure compliance with Customers’ Standard Operating Procedures

Proofreading of BL drafts & Approval of BL drafts to Carriers

Requesting amendment of BL drafts to Carriers (if any)

Arrange booking of ocean vessels and drayage for export containers and update systems accordingly

Read e-mails several times daily and reply to all emails daily

Commit to get orders completed in compliance with KPI. Take all possible action to complete orders and log corresponding Non-Conformances if third parties are preventing order completion within KPI

Job Requirement:

Available to follow Singapore/United States Public Holiday if being required (overtime/off in lieu (replacement leave) will be given)

Prior experience with documentation preparation and booking would be advantageous

At least 1-3 years working experience in the related field

Ability to prioritize work, well organized and good coordination

Good communication skills and proficiency in English

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally

Good time management and multitasking skills

Able to start within short notice will be an advantage
