Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts.
• Promote and sell logistics solutions including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance and 3PL services.
• Identify and approach potential customers through cold calling, sales visits, networking and business presentations.
• Understand customers' logistics requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and service agreements, and close sales opportunities.
• Follow up on sales leads and convert prospects into long-term business accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide effective solutions to service-related issues.
• Work closely with operations, warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth and reliable service delivery.
• Monitor sales performance, revenue and gross profit to achieve agreed sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Logistics Sales Executive / Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing customer accounts, and driving revenue growth across our logistics solutions.

This role is suitable for an individual with strong industry knowledge, an established customer network, and good connections with logistics partners and vendors.

Key responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts.

Promote and sell logistics solutions including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance and 3PL services.

Identify and approach potential customers through cold calling, sales visits, networking and business presentations.

Understand customers' logistics requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and service agreements, and close sales opportunities.

Follow up on sales leads and convert prospects into long-term business accounts.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide effective solutions to service-related issues.

Work closely with operations, warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth and reliable service delivery.

Monitor sales performance, revenue and gross profit to achieve agreed sales targets.

Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the logistics industry.

Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, warehousing or supply chain is preferred.

Strong business development, sales and customer relationship management skills.

Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets.

Strong understanding of logistics solutions and customer requirements.

Knowledge of the Singapore and Asia logistics market will be an advantage.

Existing customer portfolio and established industry network are highly advantageous.

Good connections with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, co-loaders or other logistics vendors will be an added advantage.

Able to work independently, manage multiple accounts and deliver results in a target-driven environment.
