Job summary

Oro Safety Glass Sdn Bhd in Sungai Petani, Kedah is seeking a Logistics Planner to manage daily to monthly delivery schedules and coordinate with transporters and internal teams for efficient operations. You will analyze data, optimize costs, and ensure deliveries meet company standards.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Logistics and at least 3 years of logistics planning experience, with strong planning, analytical and communication skills. Mandarin speaking is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics planning or related roles.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Applicant is willing to work at Sungai Petani, Kedah.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Job description

Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.

Liaise with transporters and internal teams to align logistics operation to ensure works efficiency.

Optimize the delivery costing.

Analyse logistics data and make improvement in the area needed.

Ensure all deliveries to customers comply with company standards.

Resolve any issues related to transportation delays, damaged goods, or lorry breakdown.

Use of ERP Software to manage shipment tracking and inventory.

To ensure good communication and effective delivery of goods.

Any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time which relevant to logistic issue.

Job Requirement.
