Job summary

Vantage Energy Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a logistics coordinator to liaise with internal units, clients and forwarding agents, coordinating pickups and deliveries, and preparing shipping documents.

You will follow up shipments to ensure timely handling, evaluate service providers, plan logistics, and oversee performance of forwarding agents across the SEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in logistics, SCM, business administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of logistics coordination experience, including Oil & Gas logistics.
• Familiar with Malaysia customs regulation; driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liase with internal business units, clients and forwarders on all logistics activities.
• Coordinate logistics planning, pickups, deliveries, shipping docs and invoicing.
• Follow up shipments to ensure timely and accurate handling.
• Assess and onboard suitable logistics providers; monitor their performance.
• Plan logistics and report budgeting and related activities.
• Coordinate Vantage Group logistics in Kemaman, Labuan and SEA region.
• Suggest alternatives when original plans are not feasible.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

To liase with all internal Business Units, Client, Shipper, Forwarding Agents on all logistic related activities.

To coordinate entire logistic arrangement including pick up arrangement, deliveries to destination, preparing of shipping documents, processing of order and invoicing.

To follow-up, update and ensure shipment are handled timely and accurate.

Obtain, evaluate and provide recommendation on suitable logistic service provider and enrol their registration

Prepare logistic planning, coordination, budgetary and related report

Oversees forwarding agents’ performance.

Coordinate within Vantage Group Logistic activities in Kemaman, Labuan and SEA region.

Recommend alternative logistic solutions where the original plan is not feasible

Undertake any other job responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field

3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, experience in handling Oil & Gas logistic including land / sea / air transportation

Well verse in Malaysia Custom regulation Valid driving license is preferred
