Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, import/export or supply chain coordination.
• Experience with shipment coordination, freight forwarders, shipping documentation and logistics arrangements.
• Familiar with import/export processes, customs clearance procedures and related documentation.
• Good coordination, follow-up and communication with internal teams and external logistics partners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Logistic Executive (Construction Industry)

An established Bursa Malaysia-listed construction and civil engineering group with more than 20 years of industry experience, specialising in earthworks, infrastructure development and civil engineering services.

Responsibilities

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including import deliveries of components from overseas suppliers.

Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery from supplier to final destination.

Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping agents and logistics partners to manage shipment arrangements.

Import & Customs Clearance

Support import documentation preparation and customs clearance processes.

Liaise with freight forwarders and relevant parties to ensure shipments comply with regulatory requirements.

Follow up on customs clearance status and resolve shipment-related delays.

Warehouse & Inventory Coordination

Coordinate warehouse receiving schedules and delivery arrangements.

Work closely with warehouse and ground handling teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.

Support stock reconciliation and inventory movement tracking.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare, verify and maintain shipping documents including import/export related records.

Ensure logistics documentation is accurate and maintained according to company procedures.

Maintain proper records for shipment tracking and compliance purposes.

Communicate with logistics vendors, suppliers and internal teams on shipment updates.

Handle logistics-related enquiries and support resolution of delivery or supply chain issues.

Escalate delays or operational risks and coordinate corrective actions.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, import/export or supply chain coordination.

Experience in handling shipment coordination, freight forwarders, shipping documentation and logistics arrangements is preferred.

Familiar with import/export processes, customs clearance procedures and related documentation.

Good coordination and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage shipment timelines and communicate effectively with internal teams and external logistics partners.

Strong attention to detail with good documentation and record-keeping skills.

Able to handle multiple priorities and resolve logistics-related issues in a timely manner.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with suppliers, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
