Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a logistics supervisor in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. You will lead a team of coordinators, managing administrative support for the Operations team and ensuring accurate reporting for shipments and costs.

You will coordinate cargo movements, liaise with customers, and support daily warehouse activities. Strong knowledge of trade, customs, and DG handling is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehousing and logistics, with at least 3 years in shipping or trade and compliance.
• Diploma or above in Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of trade/compliance, customs or government agency processes.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for guiding a team of logistics coordinators and associates in providing logistics operational supportfunctions such as customer service, trucking coordination, and the preparation and maintenance of operational documents,reports, correspondence, and expenses.

The role will also assist the Operations Supervisor in daily office activities and communications with customers.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Guide a team of coordinator associates to provide administrative support to the Operations team.
• Handle order processing and prepare and maintain reports and files for all operations records, correspondence, plans, and expenses.
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of all necessary documentation for the movement of cargo.
• Perform tracking and tracing functions and assist in daily warehouse and administrative activities and communications.
• Liaise closely with external parties to ensure shipments are expedited smoothly.
• Correspond and liaise with customers and attend to their enquiries.
• Handle any other ad-hoc or administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehousing and logistics, with at least 3 years of experience in shippingor trade and compliance.
• Diploma or above in Logistics Management or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of trade and compliance, including experience working with customs or government agencies.
• Expertise in managing air freight, ocean freight, and cross-border trucking, including specialized cargo handling such as Dangerous Goods (DG).
• Good working knowledge of logistics operational areas such as distribution, manufacturing, inventory planning, and materials management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Good customer relationship management skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related applications.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under high-pressure and fast-paced environments, especially when handling high-value orders or tight deadlines.

Salary Range: RM4000~RM5500
