Job summary

DSV Contract Logistics Sdn. Bhd. in Johor is seeking a Customer Service Specialist (Logistics Coordinator) to manage daily shipment activities and coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouses to ensure smooth execution.

You will monitor status, prepare documentation, maintain SAP/WMS data, and drive process improvements while handling returns and generating regular logistics reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipment activities including scheduling.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouse and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor shipment status, ETA/ETD and delivery schedules; follow delays.
• Prepare and coordinate shipping docs: ASN, invoice, CIPL, B/L.
• Maintain shipment and inventory in SAP/WMS; resolve issues.
• Support inventory reconciliation and batch tracking.
• Follow up with logistics providers on issues and exceptions.
• Prepare shipment status reports for stakeholders.
• Support logistics process improvements.
• Reverse logistics and returns processing without disrupting operations.

Customer Service Specialist (Logistics Coordinator)

*Successful candidate to be based at PTP Johor.

What you'll be doing:

Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipment activities, including shipment scheduling, cargo readiness, and delivery arrangements.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouse and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Monitor shipment status, ETA/ETD and delivery schedules, and follow up on any delays or exceptions.

Prepare and coordinate shipping and pre-alert documentation, including ASN, commercial invoice, CIPL and B/L.

Maintain accurate shipment and inventory transactions in SAP/WMS and follow up on transaction-related issues.

Support inventory reconciliation, stock discrepancy investigation, batch tracking and stock movement activities.

Follow up with logistics service providers on operational issues, damages, shortages, delays and other shipment exceptions.

Prepare shipment status reports and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of logistics process improvements.

Reverse logistics. Managing returns processes without disrupting other operations.

Preparing daily, weekly or monthly logistics reports.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of import/export shipment processes and logistics documentation.

Experience with SAP.

Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Good problem-solving skills and able to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical. Interpreting KPIs and making decisions aimed at optimizing operations.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in tracking shipments, processing documentation, and managing logistics data. Experienced in short-term projects or implementations.
