Job summary

Kiong Gay Plasterceil Sdn Bhd is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily deliveries from Seelong, Senai and coordinate with drivers, warehouse and internal teams for timely order fulfilment.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, handling delays, maintaining vehicle records, and supporting stock handling and inventory coordination. Strong communication and data reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or transportation coordination preferred.
• Proficient in delivery planning, warehouse procedures, and inventory flow.
• Proficient in SQL systems and Microsoft Office, with strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deliveries and schedules for timely order fulfilment.
• Monitor delivery progress and communicate with customers, drivers and internal teams as needed.
• Handle delays, route changes or vehicle issues and report to management.
• Maintain vehicle records: mileage, fuel, servicing, road tax and insurance renewals.
• Ensure company vehicles are safe and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales and Purchasing to support daily operations.
• Prepare, verify and maintain delivery documents and related records.
• Support warehouse activities: stock handling, loading/unloading, inventory coordination.
• Supervise daily tasks of drivers and logistics staff.
• Monitor attendance, discipline and compliance with procedures and safety rules.
• Investigate delivery issues and customer complaints and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in improving logistics processes and operational efficiency.

Handle delivery issues such as delays, route changes, or vehicle breakdowns and report to management when necessary.

Maintain vehicle records, including mileage, fuel usage, servicing, road tax, and insurance renewals.

Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained, safe, and in good working condition.

Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, and Purchasing teams to support smooth daily operations.

Prepare, verify, and maintain delivery documents and related records.

Support warehouse activities such as stock handling, loading, unloading, and inventory coordination when required.

Supervise and coordinate daily tasks of drivers and logistics staff.

Monitor attendance, discipline, and compliance with company procedures and safety requirements.

Investigate delivery issues, customer complaints, and damaged or missing goods, and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Assist in improving logistics processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements :

Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage.

1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or transportation coordination preferred.

Basic understanding of delivery planning, warehouse procedures, and inventory flow.

Proficient in SQL systems and Microsoft Office, with strong capability in data entry and reporting.

Good communication skills with ability to work with drivers, warehouse, and internal departments.

Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
