Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an L&D Executive/Sr Executive to develop and review HR policies, align HR strategy with business objectives, and foster a high-performing environment.

The role requires 5+ years in HR/admin in manufacturing, strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws, and fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin a plus).

Qualifications

• Educational background as stated: Bachelor's/PG Diploma/Diploma in related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of HR and admin management experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Malaysian Labour Laws and ISO auditing.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin an advantage.
• Strong leadership, integrity and results-driven mindset.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Learning & Development (L&D) - Executive / Sr Executive

• Develops, implements and review existing policies and procedures to improve operations and function of the department
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Manage and oversee the HR fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
• Create and refine company HR policies to support organizational goals and maintain legal compliance
• Collaborate with management to align HR goals with business initiatives and liaise with government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist in designing, developing and implementing training programs aligned with business objectives
• Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and recommend suitable training solutions
• Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate training sessions, workshops and employee development program
• Ensure training materials and content are up to date and relevant to industry standards

Job Requirements :-

• Educational Background: Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Diploma or equivalent in Business Admin, Human Resource Management, Social Science or other related fields
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HR and administrative management within a manufacturing setting
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysian Labour Laws, ISO auditing
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu. Mandarin Speaker is an added advantage.
• Personal Qualities: A team player with strong leadership skills, high integrity and a results-oriented approach to the Management
• Software skills: Advanced skill in Microsoft Office e.g Excel and Power Point
• Personal skills / leadership quality: Fast learner and able to work under pressure to meet the projects dateline, team player and independent
• Other requirement: Good communication, report writing and presentation skills
• Working experience in Manufacturing or Electrical/ Electronics industry is an added advantage
