Primechem Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced HR & Admin Manager to oversee full-spectrum HR and administrative functions in a manufacturing setting. You will guide recruitment, retention, compliance, compensation, welfare and training, and monitor policies aligned with statutory requirements.
The role requires 5–8 years of HR/administration experience, leadership capabilities, and familiarity with Malaysian labour laws, ISO controls, and payroll systems such as SAGE Easy-pay.

Provide oversight of full-spectrum HR and Admin management and strategic guidance for the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation, welfare and benefits, training, and development.
To set & develop and implement company HR and Admin Policy & Procedures in compliance with the company’s objectives and statutory requirements.
Ensure review of job descriptions, specifications, and grading in line with job scope and dynamics in liaison with the user department.
Handling of employee relations and disciplinary issues and other human relations matters; impose and carry out related inquiry/performance improvement programs according to necessity.
Liaise with the local government and institutions/agencies to ensure the company’s compliance with statutory legislation and regulation.
Develop and maintain administrative systems on records and office maintenance; support the safety and health to foster a conducive work environment and ensure legal compliance.
Responsible for the administrative functions of the company indirect purchases to overall support on products and operations - machinery/parts, sub-material, repair and maintenance including building, forklift, facilities and company trucks.
Manage the master record and control of the company's general insurance and business licenses and all approvals for the Malaysian and Singapore road transport authority concerning dangerous goods (DG)permits.
Working hand-in-hand with the supply chain and logistic team for the fleet maintenance, licenses & permit renewal. Workshop sourcing for routine maintenance/service and breakdown repairs. Manage and control the company’s documentary transmissions (incoming and outgoing) for the administration and management office.
To be responsible for controls of the Company’s standard forms and documentation, etc., to comply with ISO Quality & Occupational Safety management requirements. Timely provide advisory /proposal of the latest update policy and procedures from the relevant authority.
Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma/ Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Social Science or equivalent.
At least 5 to 8 years (s) of working experience in the management of human resources and general administrative controls and indirect purchases in the manufacturing environment.
Familiarized with the company's general insurance and authority’s licensing regulations. Good exposure to Malaysian labour compliance guides and legislation related to employment issues; familiarity with ISO auditing and documentation controls; and experience in dealing with the Union Committee on the Collective Agreement and IR practices is an added advantage.
Possess high standards of integrity and ethical practice, be capable of functioning effectively both as a team player and a team leader with strong management and Leadership skills. Familiarized with Microsoft Dynamics Navision system and SAGE Easy-pay payroll & leave management software system.
Language proficiency: English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia
