Job summary

MSR Green Energy Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer for power systems and electrical design across renewable energy projects.

You will lead design reviews, mentor engineers and drive grid interconnection efforts from concept to commissioning. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 12+ years in detailed electrical design, substations, and grid interconnections, with proficiency in ETAP and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Minimum 12 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Strong experience in detailed electrical engineering design, power systems, substations and grid interconnection.
Proficient in ETAP or equivalent software; able to review electrical drawings (incl. SLDs).
Knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulations and IEC/standards; PEPC advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and review of renewable energy projects and grid interconnection facilities.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, SLDs, cable schedules and layouts.
Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers.
Oversee testing, commissioning and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with PMs, consultants, vendors, and site teams; liaise with regulators.
Ensure compliance with IEC standards and local regulations; review technical docs.
Support procurement and vendor technical evaluations.
