Job summary

MSR Green Energy Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SCADA, EMS & Secondary Systems to join the HQ team with travel to sites as required.

The role emphasizes design, testing, and commissioning of secondary controls and grid-connected systems for renewable projects. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of protection and SCADA, and familiarity with Malaysian grid connection requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in secondary electrical systems, protection and control, SCADA and EMS.
• Experience with grid-connected power systems including utility-scale projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, review and support secondary electrical systems including protection and interlocking schemes.
• Coordinate SCADA, EMS, PPC, RTU and communication networks with project teams.
• Support Grid Compliance Test planning, procedures and reports.
• Assist in testing and commissioning across solar PV, BESS and substations.
• Provide technical guidance and liaise with utilities and vendors.
