Job summary

Aurora Talent is seeking an Electrical Manager for a 2-year contract to lead electrical engineering and design across large-scale renewable energy projects in Malaysia. You will supervise SLDs, layouts, MV/HV systems, substations, protection, and interfaces with OEMs and EPC contractors.

You will ensure designs meet IEC/IEEE standards and grid codes, coordinate grid connection activities, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and handover, and drive risk management and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Professional certification preferred and advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design deliverables for renewable energy projects (SLD, layouts, cables, MV/HV, substations).
• Coordinate grid connection activities and ensure compliance with grid codes.
• Lead construction management for LV/MV/HV systems and FAT/SAT/commissioning.
• Review OEM submissions and ensure conformance with IEC/IEEE standards.
• Provide technical support and handover documentation to operations.
