Job summary

Spritzer Bhd in Taiping, Perak is seeking a Lab Supervisor (Processing) to lead a team of Processing Lab Analysts and ensure quality, compliant and efficient processing operations.

You will review records, monitor water processing parameters, address deviations, drive CAPA, and support audits while coaching staff and coordinating with Production, Engineering and Quality to sustain product quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in water processing or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience leading a team preferred.
• Familiar with SOPs and audits; strong documentation habits.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Processing Lab Analysts and ensure activities comply with procedures and quality requirements.
• Review and verify processing records, lab results, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor water processing parameters and lab results; initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Investigate non-conformities and manage CAPA follow-up.
• Support audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to improve competency and performance.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Carry out other duties as directed by the superior.

You'll be the link between procedures and daily operations, ensuring records are accurate, issues are addressed promptly, and standards are consistently followed. Through coaching, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement, you'll help safeguard product quality and support operational excellence every day.

What You'll Do

• Supervise a team of Processing Lab Analysts and ensure all activities comply with established procedures and quality requirements.
• Review and verify processing records, laboratory results, and operational documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor water processing parameters, laboratory test results, and process deviations, and initiate corrective actions when required.
• Investigate non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support internal, external, customer, and certification audits, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to improve competency and performance.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure smooth processing operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Carry out any other duties and assignments as directed by the superior.

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in water processing, laboratory operations, manufacturing, or a related environment is an advantage.
• Experience leading or supervising a team is preferred.
• Familiar with SOP compliance, documentation practices, and audits.
