Job summary

SPRITZER BHD. in Taiping, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensure targets are met, and maintain quality and safety across the line.

You will lead a small team, monitor equipment, coordinate with maintenance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

This role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in engineering/manufacturing/food tech and 3–5 years in production, preferably FMCG.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing/production settings.
• Prior supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• FMCG or bottled water/beverage experience is an advantage.
• Able to work shifts, including weekends or public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure production targets, output, and deadlines are met.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance if issues arise.
• Minimize downtime and optimize workflow efficiency.
• Lead, assign, and monitor tasks for operators and line workers.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and manage shift schedules.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
• Handle basic HR issues like attendance, discipline, and performance feedback.
• Ensure products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
• Monitor production processes to reduce defects and waste.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and audits.
• Enforce workplace safety rules and SOPs.
• Conduct safety briefings and report incidents.
• Prepare shift reports (production output, downtime, issues, etc.).
• Maintain logs for inventory, materials usage, and equipment status.
• Communicate shift performance and issues to the next shift or management.
