Job summary

Agilent Technologies LDA Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks an Informatics Delivery Engineer to support sales and ensure successful solution delivery across the customer lifecycle.

You will engage in pre-sales analyses, deliver demonstrations, and lead post-delivery configuration and training for SLIMS/OpenLab integrations. The role requires 4+ years in lab solutions, Python/Java skills, and strong customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level.
• Experience with laboratory solutions and applications.
• Software affinity or programming skills such as Python and Java.
• Ability to grasp customer requirements and document the requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and foster good relations with customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with sales for requirement analysis, scoping delivery, and early customer discussions to recommend tailored solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Analyze customer's needs and translate to SLIMS workflows.
• Configure the SLIMS platform to match lab requirements.
• Build plugins for instrument connections or custom forms/portals.
• Lead or support project delivery and train the customer.
• Script lab in-silico tools into our integration framework.
• Deliver OpenLab (CDS) solutions along with SLIMS (LIMS) applications.
