Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Malaysia is looking for an Application Specialist (LS) to provide product line applications expertise, support instrument installation, training, and ongoing applications support for the LS product portfolio.

You will troubleshoot, train customers, configure instruments, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Engineering to ensure timely and quality installations, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or an equivalent in a relevant life science subject.
• Preferably at least 3 years of work experience in applications support or a clinical laboratory.
• Experience and knowledge in method verification studies will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge on Quality Control.
• Proficient in MS Office application.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolving application related problems
• Escalating unresolved issues and monitor to completion
• Provide comprehensive training to customers tailored to their learning needs
• Provide application related support to new installation projects and to existing customers. This includes; configuring instruments and related reagents
• Configuring instruments and related reagents
• Preforming Method Verification studies
• Performing optimization and workflow studies
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing and Engineering to achieve installations to agreed timelines and quality including performing relevant instrument, software and assay updates/upgrades.
