Job summary

Region System Sdn Bhd is seeking an Administration Clerk based in Meru, Klang. The role requires handling import documentation, shipment coordination, and data entry using Excel, SQL, or Epicor. You will liaise with forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and accurate records.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a manufacturing admin clerical role and a basic understanding of import procedures. Must be able to work 5½ days and be based in Meru, Klang.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• Basic knowledge of import shipping documents and procedures is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in administrative clerical role in the manufacturing industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain import documents (Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders).
• Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Assist in customs clearance paperwork and submission to forwarding agents.
• Monitor shipments, vessel schedules and delivery dates to ensure on-time arrival.
• Verify import documents for accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
• Enter data and update records in Excel, SQL or Epicor systems.
• Maintain filing of import documents and related records for audits.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Accounts and Production on incoming shipments.
• Review freight charges and invoices before submission to Accounts.
