Job summary

Dimerco Express (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an organized Logistics Clerk to handle export/import clearance workflows and documentation. You will coordinate with shipping lines, port authorities and customers to ensure timely releases and accurate filing of customs declarations.

Role requires familiarity with port procedures and EDI systems, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years in forwarding/transportation/freight
• Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent
• Possession of KEK license is an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs declarations and handle export/import operations efficiently
• Liaise with shipping agents, port authority, licensing authority and customers for release of consignments
• Coordinate with trucking/hauliers for collection and delivery of shipments
• Sort and attach relevant documents after clearance for customers or billing
• Monitor deliveries/pickups to meet objectives
• Attend LCL cargo loading at CFS warehouses and attend Customs Seal –K8
• Enter and submit K4 manifests in EDI as required
• Adhere to customers' SOPs and undertake additional tasks from supervisor
