Job summary

Columbia Asia Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Supervisor to oversee meal preparation in a hospital or hotel setting. You will direct kitchen staff, ensure hygiene standards, and assist with menu planning.

Requirements include a Diploma/Certificate in Culinary/Food preparation and 1–2 years' relevant experience. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Culinary/Food preparation required.
• 1–2 years experience in hospital or hotel food production preferred.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct kitchen staff during meal prep and cooking as per plan.
• Ensure clean, efficient, economical kitchen and food service.
• Inspect raw materials and report sub-standard products to Chef.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation and dietary balance of IPD meals.
• Assist Chef in menu planning and presentation.

Education and Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Culinary/Food preparation.
• Preferably with 1 - 2 years of experience in a Hospital or Hotel food production
• Be conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and oral
• Good interpersonal skills
