Job summary

Hometown F&B (Central) Sdn Bhd is hiring for kitchen helper roles in Selangor, Malaysia. No experience is required as training will be provided to support food preparation and kitchen operations.

You will be involved in ingredient prep, cooking support, packaging, and maintaining hygiene, working in a team-based environment with emphasis on punctuality and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• No experience required (training will be provided)
• Interested in food preparation / kitchen work
• Hardworking, responsible, and disciplined
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to work in a kitchen environment
• Able to work long hours / stand for extended periods
• Punctual with good attendance
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene is an advantage
• Malaysian ONLY

Responsibilities

• Ingredient Preparation: Prepare raw ingredients according to production requirements
• Ensure ingredients are measured and stored in accordance with SOP
• Cooking Support: Assist in large-scale cooking processes
• Prepare supporting ingredients during production
• Product Packaging: Pack and label products accurately
• Ensure quality standards and portion control are maintained
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment
• Comply with food safety and hygiene guidelines
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring raw material stock
• Practice FIFO (First In, First Out) system
