Tey & Wong Provision Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Junior/Senior Account Executive to join our Iskandar Puteri accounting team. This full-time role focuses on delivering accurate accounting entries, financial statements, and timely reporting for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in accounting/finance, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and the ability to work well within a team while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounting entries, invoices and financial documents with precision.

• Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation to auditors.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee-related accounting matters.
• Liaise with clients to clarify financial information and resolve queries.
• Support senior team members with ad-hoc accounting projects.

About the role Tey & Wong Provision Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Junior/Senior Account Executive to join our accounting team. This is a full-time position based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality accounting and financial services to our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in accounting practices whilst contributing directly to the success of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and processing accounting entries, invoices, and financial documents with precision and attention to detail

Reconciling bank statements, ledger accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy

Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and management reports

Maintaining organised and up-to-date accounting records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Supporting the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently

Assisting with payroll processing and employee-related accounting matters

Liaising with clients to clarify financial information and resolve accounting queries

Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc accounting projects and assignments

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies

What we're looking for

A qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred)

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly

Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not essential for junior candidates
