Job summary

Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor, is seeking an Account Executive to support financial operations and drive company success.

You will help prepare financial statements, maintain ledgers, process invoices, and assist budgets and tax reporting. Ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting, strong MS Office and accounting software skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Manufacturing accounts experience preferred.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Process invoices, payments and receipts timely and accurately.
• Support budgeting and forecasting preparations.
• Assist with tax returns and regulatory reporting.
• Perform data entry and other admin tasks; provide excellent stakeholder service.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's financial operations and contributing to our continued success. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and excellent growth opportunities.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts

Processing invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner

Providing support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory reporting

Performing data entry and other administrative tasks as required

Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role (able to handle manufacturing account is preferable)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial records

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
