About the role

Taman Jadi (1989) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our accounting and financial reporting team. This is a full-time position based in Nibong Tebal, Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts, preparing financial reports, handling full set account and providing comprehensive accounting support to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accounts with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all transactions are recorded appropriately


• Handle full set account


• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy


• Process invoices, expenses, and other financial documents in a timely manner


• Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to gather necessary financial information and clarify accounting queries


• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation as required


• Monitor and ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies


• Support the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures


• Maintain organised records and documentation


• Identify and report potential accounting issues or irregularities to management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting role


• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel


• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and local accounting standards
