MAPEI Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MMSB) is seeking an Operations Engineer to support regional ERP deployment and drive core process improvements through data analysis. You will lead ERP implementation across Production, Logistics and Quality, analyze workflows and propose optimization ideas.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• 1–2 years of working experience in a manufacturing-related role and/or exposure to ERP systems.
• Familiarity with multinational companies or regional subsidiaries is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills demonstrated through projects in previous roles.

To support regional operations by driving ERP implementation, improving core processes through data analysis and supporting subsidiaries as needed.

Provide support to the Regional Operations Team.

Lead the implementation of a new ERP system and participate in analyzing and evaluating Production, Logistics, and Quality processes.

Identify and propose process improvements based on data analysis.

Train team members on effective ERP usage.

Provide support in operational processes across subsidiaries in the region, when needed.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Process Engineering.

1-2 years of working experience in a manufacturing-related role and/or;

Exposure to ERP systems through academic studies, internship or work experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Familiarity of working in multinational companies or regional subsidiaries is an added advantage.

Good problem-solving skills/experience through projects in current or previous roles.

Any formal training such as 7 QC tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Management is an added advantage.

Technical & Professional Skills

Basic understanding of Production, Logistics, and Quality Control practices.

Knowledge of production process standardization and optimization techniques.

Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, or similar tools is an advantage.

Fluent in English and good communication skills

Ability to present information clearly and confidently to management and group audiences.

MAPEI Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MMSB) is a manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemicals for the building and construction industry.

MMSB was incorporated on 4 January 1992. Business activities started in the form of trading with 6 employees. In 2001, facilities for production of powder solutions for installing ceramic tiles and stone materials were established in Rawang. Expansion to cover manufacturing of latex-based liquid products followed in 2008 and grinding aids for the cement industry in 2010. In April 2011, an automated, high-tech mixer was installed to cater to increasing demand in local and export markets.

With continuing rapid growth, further big-scale expansion was necessary and construction of a new ultra-modern plant with facilities for production, warehousing and laboratories started in Nilai in 2013. Completion was achieved in December 2014 and all operations are now running and in place.

The company now offers a broad range of MAPEI's product lines for buildings, civil engineering works and underground construction including adhesives for ceramic & stone materials, waterproofing, roofing, sealing & jointing, concrete repairs & protection, structural strengthening, industrial flooring, concrete admixtures, as well as additives for cement production.
