Job summary

Nippon Electric Glass (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a Production Engineer in Shah Alam to optimize processes, plan production, and ensure quality across manufacturing lines. The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Candidate will engage with maintenance teams to analyze failures, implement preventive strategies, and drive cost-reduction

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical OR Manufacturing Engineering from recognized universities.
• Minimum 1–3 years working experience preferably with manufacturing background.
• Able to work with less supervision.

• Process Optimization: Analyze workflow, equipment, and production data to eliminate bottlenecks and maximize yield.
• Production Planning: Assist in creating master production schedules and allocate manpower, raw materials, and machinery effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor production metrics to ensure finished products consistently meet safety, regulatory, and ISO standards.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Work with maintenance team to investigate equipment failures and implement preventative maintenance or corrective engineering strategies.
• Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce material waste, energy consumption, and overall manufacturing costs.
