Job summary

Elsa Talent in Malaysia is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to monitor and maintain our network infrastructure for reliability and security. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and 2+ years’ IT Operations or Network Administration experience, with hands-on TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, ACL, NAT, and firewall configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Operations, Network Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLAN, ACL, and NAT.
• Experience with Network Security and Firewalls, Fortinet and Cisco products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and minimal downtime.
• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Manage and monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability and security.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve network incidents.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, standards, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Implement network improvements and enhancements to support scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and resolve network-related issues.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with established security policies and standards.
