Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Junior Network Engineer to monitor, install, and maintain core network infrastructure.

You will work on routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. This is a 2-year contract based in the KL office. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT, 2+ years in IT/Network, and strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
• CCNA/CCNP are advantageous.
• At least 2 years in IT Operations or Network Administration.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, ACL, NAT.
• Experience with Fortinet and Cisco networking products.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and minimal downtime.
• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Manage and monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability and security.
• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve network incidents.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, standards, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Implement network improvements and enhancements to support scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and resolve network-related issues.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with established security policies and standards.
