Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an HVAC Operations Engineer to oversee daily thermal storage charging from 22:00 to 08:00 and discharging from 08:00 to 22:00 at the Sepang site.

You will establish operating parameters for the chiller plant, perform preventive maintenance on chiller plant, cooling tower, and piping, and implement energy-saving improvements. You’ll also monitor BAS hardware and meters, support billing, and assist Customer Service on technical issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major.
• 2-3 years of working experience in chiller operation or HVAC.
• Experience in air conditioning system and related mechanical devices such as pump and valve.
• Understanding of common electrical equipment: motor, switch gear, automatic control system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily thermal storage charging operation from 10pm - 8am.
• Oversee the daily thermal storage discharging operation from 8am - 10pm.
• Establish optimal operating parameter & procedure for chiller plant.
• Perform periodic repair maintenance at chiller plant, cooling tower and common chilled water piping.
• Carry out energy saving improvement.
• Maintain and improve BAS hardware, program and its operating parameters.
• Maintain utility meters and telemetry.
• Perform manual monthly meter reading on aircond, electricity and chiller plant for billing purpose.
• Support Customer Service on technical matters such as customer complaint, disconnection and reconnection of supply.
