Job summary

Lead the daily operations of the project site and supervise the service team. Act as the main point of contact between the client and the site team.

• Ensure 24/7 site support and timely response to service requests in accordance with service level requirements
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate fault rectification, and perform root cause analysis
• Prepare and maintain operational, maintenance, and service reports
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and client requirements
• Manage site inventory, spare parts, and maintenance resources efficiently
• Provide technical guidance to the site team and support testing, commissioning, and system improvements
• Train and develop team members while monitoring performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, chiller plant operations, or service engineering

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in HVAC systems, chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs), or VRF systems
• Good knowledge of refrigeration principles, system troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS); knowledge of PLC controls is an added advantage
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of safety standards, building regulations, and HVAC industry practices
• Willing to work on a 24/7 shift rotation, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs
• Strong analytical, communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional language proficiency

• Would be an advantage.
