Job summary

T&H Stainless Steel Works Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, seeks a Junior HR & Admin Clerk to support daily HR and administrative duties.

You will help maintain employee records, assist payroll processing, handle recruitment activities, and ensure compliance with Malaysian employment requirements. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s in HRM or Business Admin, fresh graduates are welcome, and you should be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years HR/admin experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and payroll administration.
• Knowledge of foreign worker administration is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS/payroll systems familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records, personal files and HR documents.
• Assist attendance, leave, overtime, and payroll-related records.
• Prepare HR letters, contracts, memos, notices and other employee documents.
• Assist recruitment, onboarding, training, performance appraisals, and exits.
• Handle disciplinary matters and ensure proper documentation per policies and labour regulations.
• Assist foreign worker administration (PLKS, immigration, work permits, etc.).
• Liaise with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, Immigration and other authorities as required.
• Prepare basic HR reports and ensure filing, records, and confidentiality of information.
• Provide general admin support to HR & Admin and other departments as needed.
