To support our massive, fast-accelerating industrial automation contracts in Penang, Agritek ESG is building a fresh, local technical execution team. Role Purpose

We are seeking energetic, fast-learning Junior Automation & Field Service Technicians to join our fresh Penang team. You will initially work alongside veteran deployment engineers from Taiwan to support high-value automated production machinery. This role offers an unparalleled "learn-by-doing" environment with clear pathways into advanced automation.

Key Responsibilities

On-site Equipment Support:

Assist in the immediate unboxing, mechanical assembly, and positioning of automated production machinery at the client’s facility in Penang.

Shadowing & Knowledge Capture:

Shadow senior Taiwanese engineers during active troubleshooting and corrective maintenance. You will actively help video-document and translate these technical procedures into formal written English/Malay Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Preventive Maintenance:

Execute basic routine machine servicing, sensor calibrations, and wear-and-tear component replacements according to schedules.

Local Parts Assistance:

Assist the operations manager in verifying, sorting, and delivering standard localized mechanical/electrical spare parts to the client's manufacturing floor.

Requirements

Education: Diploma or Certificate in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply).

Mindset: A strong eagerness to learn, a hands-on attitude, and a high level of responsibility. High technical expertise on Day 1 is not required; coachability is paramount.

Languages: The ability to understand basic conversational Mandarin or read Chinese technical diagrams is a major advantage (to communicate effectively with Taiwanese engineering mentors).

Location: Must be based in Penang or willing to relocate immediately.
