Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on field service or equipment engineering experience in semiconductor assembly/electronics manufacturing.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Proficient at reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&ID diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with motion control systems, sensors, and robotics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills under high-pressure, cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Technical Reporting: Document service activities and spare parts usage using CRM/ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Installation & Setup: Perform on-site installation, calibration, and integration of complex semiconductor assembly and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance routines, performance checks, and system upgrades to ensure optimal machine productivity and yield.
• Customer Support & Training: Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, providing operational guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and basic operator training.
• Technical Reporting: Document service activities, maintenance logs, and spare parts usage accurately using internal CRM/ERP systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to engineering and R&D teams regarding equipment reliability, design enhancements, and recurring field issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on field service or equipment engineering experience within the semiconductor assembly or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&ID diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with motion control systems, sensors, and robotics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills under high-pressure, cleanroom environments.
• Lid Attach / Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) placement and bonding systems experience is added advantage.
• Familiarity with Fluxer systems utilizing piezo pump technology for precision dispensing is added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capable managing customer expectations professionally.
