Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Service Engineer in Selangor to lead precision installation, on-site commissioning, and technical support for CNC machinery across Southeast Asia.

You will diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and control faults, deliver preventive maintenance, and train clients to maximize equipment performance and automation utilization. Travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently for domestic customer visits and regional assignments across Southeast Asia.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with counterparts and suppliers in China.

Responsibilities

• Execute the precision installation, mechanical and electrical alignment, and full commissioning of advanced CNC machinery at client facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and control system faults to minimize operational downtime.
• Deliver preventive maintenance and proactive technical support, utilizing diagnostic data to identify and address potential machine failures early.
• Conduct hands-on operational training and technical guidance for clients to maximize equipment performance and automation utilization.
• Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring accurate delivery orders, acceptance sign-offs, and final inspection documentation.
• Prepare comprehensive field service reports and failure analyses for the Regional Service Manager, collaborating with sales and engineering to maintain seamless after-sales operations.
