Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
• Foundational understanding of PLC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules under supervision.
• Support the team in responding to equipment breakdowns and restoring production operations.
• Record maintenance data to support reliability analysis.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports and documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting and basic modification of PLC programs under guidance.
• Provide support for HMI, VFD, servo drive, and industrial network systems.
• Help diagnose automation-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support machine integration and automation enhancement projects as directed.
• Participate in root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods.

Position Overview

The Junior Equipment Maintenance Engineer supports the maintenance team in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of production equipment. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the role assists with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, and provides basic support for PLC-based automation systems. This is an entry-level position suited to a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to build hands‑on experience in industrial equipment maintenance, automation, and continuous improvement within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Assist in executing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules under supervision.

Support the team in responding to equipment breakdowns and restoring production operations.

Record and update equipment performance data to support reliability analysis.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering).

Basic proficiency in engineering software tools such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design).

Foundational understanding of PLC, electrical, and mechanical systems, gained through coursework, internships, or hands‑on projects.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and interpret technical data.

Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting work and collaborating with the team.

Ability to work effectively under supervision as well as within a team environment to meet deadlines.

Willingness to learn industry standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to equipment maintenance.

Eagerness to develop skills in project support and continuous improvement techniques.
