Job summary

NTG MYS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and adherence to the production schedule. You will coordinate manpower, monitor performance and maintain accurate records to support continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, knowledge of SOPs and quality standards, and the ability to lead a team across shifts while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent, preferably with SKM Level 3 or a Certificate in Manufacturing, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience leading or coordinating a production team.
• Experience in composite manufacturing processes such as prepreg fabrication, lamination, moulding or similar processes is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality requirements and workplace safety.
• Effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime or extended hours according to operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities according to the production schedule
• Monitor production output and ensure production targets and quality requirements are achieved
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, SOPs, quality standards and safety requirements
• Manage and allocate manpower effectively to maintain smooth production flow
• Provide guidance and support to production technicians while promoting skill development
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve production issues, equipment problems and material requirements
• Ensure proper use of raw materials, chemicals, consumables and production equipment
• Monitor chemical and material inventory levels and highlight potential shortages
• Ensure accurate completion of production records, shift reports and other required documentation
• Promote compliance with company safety, quality, 5S and environmental requirementsSupport continuous improvement and other production activities as assigned by management
