Job summary

Advanced Energy Management Limited seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot semiconductor equipment, support installation, and collaborate with engineers on upgrades. You will ensure safety and quality standards and maintain maintenance records in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Ideal candidates have Diploma/Technical schooling in mechanical/electrical fields, knowledge of BOM/SAP/MES, and ability to read technical drawings. OT may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Good communication ability and teamwork.
• Knowledge of BOM, SAP, MES, basic Microsoft skill.

• Troubleshooting equipment failures and carry out timely fixes to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment setup, installation and qualification activities.
• Work closely with engineers to implement process and equipment upgrades and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operation standards.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshooting equipment failures and carry out timely fixes to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment setup, installation and qualification activities.
• Work closely with engineers to implement process and equipment upgrades and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operation standards.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs and reports.
• Perform equipment, jig, and fixture preventive maintenance (PM).
• Assist engineers in spare parts management and inventory control.
• Support activities to meet Output, Yield and OEE target.
• Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.
• Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Works in a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering cleanroom environment.
• Completes many repetitive tasks that include the use of electronic equipment.
• At time work with operators to complete production workorder based on the OMS instruction.
• Be immediate guide to operators for any critical downtime.
• Works under direct supervision and get support from engineers to understand new tasks.
• Overtime may be necessary in times of increased demand.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to operate basic semiconductor equipment such as wire bonder, reflow oven, SMT, etc.
• Ability to exercise good judgment to resolve problems.
• Good communication ability and teamwork.
• Knowledge of BOM, SAP, MES, basic Microsoft skill, etc.
• Knowledge of Basic English ability, reading ability is preferred.
• Good computational and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and ability to be creative.

EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with automation systems and sensors.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic English knowledge.
• ESD knowledge.
• 5S knowledge.
• Have work experience in Semiconductor field.

EDUCATION

• Technical school or Diploma level in mechanical/electrical or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
