Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Contract Executive to join our Project & Construction team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who want to develop skills in quantity surveying, contracts and procurement.

You will prepare measurements, take-offs, variation orders, assist in tender evaluations, and support contract administration. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work both independently and as part of

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or related field.
• Basic knowledge of QS and contract administration.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare measurement, quantity take-off and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Assist in assessing variations and preparing Variation Orders (VO).
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and vendors on project commercial and contractual matters.
• Assist in sourcing construction materials and purchasing matters.
• Prepare tender evaluation and comparison reports.
• Review and prepare progress certificates for contractors and suppliers.
• Assist in contract administration, documentation and other related matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
