Job summary

Kimlun is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Executive to join our project team in the construction and engineering sector in Malaysia. You will manage contractual and commercial matters from tender through final accounts, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, at least five years' experience with a main contractor, and strong skills in tendering, contract administration, costing and

• Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams on contractual issues.
• Prepare commercial reports and other duties assigned by Management.

An experienced Senior Contract Executive to join a project team in the construction and engineering sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle, from tender stage to final account.

Key responsibilities

Handle pre- and post-contract activities for construction projects.

Prepare tender pricing, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender submissions.

Obtain and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations.

Manage subcontractor claims, progress payments, Variation Orders and Final Accounts.

Prepare contractual claims and provide advice on commercial matters.

Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance.

Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams on contractual issues.

About you

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor.

Strong knowledge of tendering, contract administration, costing, claims and VO.

Good negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Independent, resourceful and able to work under pressure.
