Job summary

AHM DYNAMIC ENTERPRISE is seeking a Junior Clerk of Works in Selangor to join the Project Management team. This full-time role focuses on monitoring construction quality, safety, and compliance on-site, while maintaining thorough project documentation.

You will liaise between contractors and stakeholders, verify materials, and support progress measurement and reporting. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years in construction supervision or clerk of works.
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction standards and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently on-site with teamwork.
• Physical fitness to work on construction sites in all weather.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
• Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures.
• Problem-solving mindset and practical approach.

About the role

AHM DYNAMIC ENTERPRISE is seeking a Junior Clerk of Works to join our Project Management team. This is a full-time position based in Selangor. As a Junior Clerk of Works, you will play a vital role in ensuring construction projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will work on-site to monitor construction activities, liaise between the contractor and project stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. This position is instrumental in supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects and represents an excellent opportunity to develop your career in construction project management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect construction works on-site to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building regulations
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports documenting progress, defects, and remedial actions required
• Maintain comprehensive site records including daily logs, material deliveries, labour attendance, and photographic documentation
• Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors, and site personnel to facilitate effective communication and resolve on-site issues
• Verify that materials and workmanship meet contractual specifications and quality standards before approval
• Assist in measuring and recording work progress to support accurate project scheduling and financial reporting
• Support the coordination of site safety protocols and report any safety concerns or incidents to project management
• Prepare and maintain , project schedule , as-built documentation and construction records for project handover
• Assist senior project management staff with site meetings, correspondence, and administrative duties

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in construction supervision, site inspection, or clerk of works roles
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and building regulations relevant to Malaysian construction standards
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently on-site whilst maintaining effective team collaboration
• Physical fitness to work on construction sites in all weather conditions
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
• Knowledge of construction quality control and safety procedures
• Problem-solving ability and practical approach to resolving site-related issues
